A Rare Breed Indeed

What an interesting day I had! What an interesting night I had, too!! I am really going to like Halloween because it is one wail of a day! Mine started out pretty normal. Breakfast, play time, Imagination Movers (I would recommend this show to everybody)...and then I got to go to Aunt Ruth's house for a while so mommy and daddy could do a couple of things. Of course one of the things they did was to buy me 2 new shirts!!! :)
I had lots of fun at Aunt Ruth's house. We had my favorite kind of chips, BBQ, and we played and colored and I had a bit of lunch and we watched Baxter. It was great. Mommy and daddy were back before I even knew they were gone and I had to come home to take a nap.
After my nap it was more play time and then mommy said I got to put on my costume!!! I've worn it around the house but this was different. This time I was going to get to go out in it!!! I really liked my outfit. It turned me into a very rare breed, indeed! All at once I wasn't a little girl anymore, I was a PINK LEOPARD...fast, stealthy, cat-like, and yet still ADORABLE!!!
Oh I went lots of places and saw lots of people! Everywhere I went there were cameras and people gave me stuff to put in my pumpkin bag! Oh man it was so fun. I got to walk around lots of houses. I stayed busy the entire time!!! I saw lots of family and that was great. I didn't know you could see so much family in just a few short hours!
The whole night I was wondering if Levi was having as much fun as I was. Mommy said we probably would not get to see him because he was very busy, too. BUT MUCH TO MY SURPRISE we did get to see Levi! He showed up at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lesa's house just a few minutes after we did. AND you won't believe that while I became a rare breed of leopard, he became SUPER MAN! We got to play together for a little bit at the end of the night. Seriously, it was just so much fun. The whole day was just great!
Bed time was a bit later than usual and mommy says that has something to do with daylight savings time...I have no idea what she is talking about, but she says it happens tomorrow night and it has something to do with us and how she really hopes I want to sleep later. WHO KNOWS...but I did go straight to bed after a WONDERFUL DAY! I know I had to take off my outfit for bed, but I really hope I get to wear it some more.

Farm Girl

Today was such a wonderful day! I started with a cereal bar and toast. I got to stay in my pj's until about 10:30am. Once I did get dressed I took a trip to Walmart to get my favorite sausage and cheese links. My parents didn't even know that I liked them until my cousin, Levi, had them one day and I ate HALF of one of his!! I probably would have had more if I'd been allowed.
Anyway, back to Walmart! I waved at almost everybody I saw and not only walked out with sausage, but also with my favorite cheese sticks! I got to have sausage and cheese for lunch and then I ate a couple of daddy's chips. I know, I know...I need some fruits, but don't worry because I eat a ton of fruit! Veggies are a WHOLE OTHER STORY!
So after lunch it was time to nap and then I played with mommy and daddy until it was work time for daddy. Me and mommy went over to see Grandma and Grandpa Filler and Levi. We had dinner with all of them and also with Aunt Sara and Uncle Lawrence. Then Levi had to leave because he was going to a trunk or treat in Middletown. Me and mommy and grandma and grandpa decided to go look at Christmas stuff in the stores.
First we went to Rural King. I really enjoy that store. They did have lots of toys and they had some pretty cool wagons and bikes and even a Radio Flyer Car that I got to try out. The car was my favorite. The horn really honked and the RADIO REALLY WORKED. I nodded my head with the music every time it came on. It was just great. I did NOT want to leave that car!
However, after looking at the car I got to try on my first pair of John Deere Boots!
I wasn't so sure at first. I walked a bit funny for a little bit, but once I got used to them I really like the boots. I walked and walked and walked and walked! Mommy said I had to put my other shoes on so I could leave.
After Rural King we went to Menard's. I highly recommend you check out Menard's if you have one close to you. They had the BEST Christmas display ever. I haven't seen many in my one year, but this one was amazing. There were trees up everywhere and decorated so pretty! There were snowmen and penguins and elves and presents and even a Mickey and Pooh and Tigger! LIGHTS WERE EVERYWHERE!!!! I stayed there 45 minutes just looking and making comments about how cool it was! I also got to carry around a Rudolph whose nose lit up and he sang a song! OH IT WAS GLORIOUS!
Of course, such a good thing had to come to an end so I could go to bed. We left and came home. I got my pj's on and talked to mommy for just a few minutes before she kissed me goodnight and turned off my light. I went straight to sleep and I'm sure I will dream of the Christmas lights that I saw tonight!!

Christmas Came Early

This week has been very good! Monday we went to Granny's house and I had a great time playing with Levi. Monday night and Tuesday night I got to hang out with Grandpa Filler and go see my great-grandparents. I had a really great time there, too. Levi even came over with Uncle Lawrence on Tuesday night for a little bit.
Today was daddy's day off. I woke up pretty early and started my day with mommy. I had breakfast and then watched just a little bit of my shows. I got to go to Eatsa Pizza for lunch with mommy and daddy. Grandma Filler and Granny Conner met us there. I had my usual, pasta, meatballs, cheese, and bread. I played some games, but some of my favorites were broken today!
After a nice nap mommy told me we were going to Granny's house for a surprise! Me and mommy and daddy all went and you won't believe what I saw! Granny got me and Levi a kitchen for Christmas and she decided to give it to us early! So I got to try it out. It is so fun!!! It makes noises (like a tea pot whistling, and a baking timer, and food cooking on the stove). It has muffins and cookies with it and I made sure everybody got at least one!
Uncle Patrick came home from work and I had to get into a dress. We went outside and took some pictures for our Christmas cards that we'll send to everybody. It was a ton of fun because I got to run around the backyard for a bit with Uncle Patrick and daddy. I played inside and outside and got so hungry that when we came home I ate 4 chicken nuggets, apple fries and my milk. I didn't leave anything left over!!!
Here are some pictures from the last few days. I am so excited that in 2 days it is time for TRICK OR TREATING! We have so many places to visit and I am very excited! Daddy even got some time off of work so he can come, too!!! Can't wait to show you my outfit!! I ran around the house in it the other day and didn't really want to take it off!!!!!

3 Ways I Know I'm a Grown-Up (Almost)

I cannot even tell you how much fun I've been having this week. I have seen lots of my family, I have played and played, and I actually got to see Levi 3 days this week! It has just been a blast. I wanted to share with you three reasons I know I am almost a grown-up. I mean it, ladies and gentlemen! I am just growing up. My mommy sees it, but not as much as I see it. She still thinks it is necessary to tell me, "NO" way too much.
For instance, the other day I went into my bedroom and decided to check out the bathroom (the door is usually closed). So, I went in and about 20 seconds later mommy noticed that it had gotten very quiet. She thinks that is a bad thing usually. So she came running in to see me having so much fun splashing my hands in the toilet water! Now, she probably doesn't want me to share this story with you because she thinks it is just DISGUSTING, but I really thought it was one of the coolest things I did all day!
Of course I got the whole, "NO, NO, NO" speech...and I think my mommy's face actually changed colors...and then I had to take my shirt off and get thoroughly cleaned, but it was worth it to me!!! I am growing up and I just don't need to hear the, "NO'S!"
Anyway, back to my 3 reasons I just KNOW I am growing up!
Reason 1. I know I am growing up because I got to drink my milk at Wendy's with a straw, using the big kids jug and not my sippie cup!
Reason 2. I know I am growing up because I am allowed to play the Wii with my daddy
Reason 3. I know I am growing up because now because I can color with the crayons at Aunt Ruth's house!

It is official everybody. I AM GROWING UP!

To Pose or Not to Pose

Mommy is reconsidering her thought to take me and have pictures made. I think she wonders if I can actually sit or stand still for just 10 seconds!!! My morning started with a trip to Anderson in the car. All the grand kids were going to get our pictures taken with G.G. Mary, Grandpa and Grammy Douglas. We went to a beautiful park where there were LOTS of rocks and sticks for me to pick up and carry.
I was not too excited about posing for the camera, but I WAS excited about running around and playing. We got a some good pictures and I got to show Grandpa Douglas many of the treasured rocks that I found along the way. I walked and walked and walked....seriously, it must have been MILES OF WALKING!
When we were finished I took a cat nap in the car! We came home and had some lunch, then I played a bit and headed to bed for a nap!!! I was still a bit tired from my busy morning. When I got up Uncle Patrick was here. He hasn't seen me in a bit, so I showed him my pumpkin, my baby doll and some of my new tricks. I also got to see Granny Conner and Pa and Grandma Filler for a few minutes!
Daddy made some delicious chocolate chip cookies that I snacked on during the evening. Mommy and daddy fixed dinner and the three of us ate on the couch. The rest of the night was spent playing, watching a little television and, I can't lie, some crying, too!!! I don't know why, but I was just not myself this evening. Mommy and daddy decided bed time would be at 8:00pm ON THE DOT since I wasn't quite normal. I didn't even pitch a fit!!!! Maybe after a good night sleep I'll be myself, again!!! Check out some of my candid pictures from the park!

PLAY TIME

Here are pictures of my last few days....I love play time, especially when Levi is around!
