I Need Adventure

This has been a great day. Mommy and I got up early and had a little breakfast. Then we went to the library. I haven't been there in so long that I didn't even remember they had a GREAT boat to play on. So, I played in the boat while mommy signed me up for the summer reading program. I picked out some books and then ran back to the boat. I played and played until mommy said it was time to go. Here is how the conversation went:

Mommy: It is time to check out our books, Lynley.

Me: No, I am not ready yet.

Mommy: Lynley, we need to check them out now because Tabatha is waiting on us.

Me: Mom, I need adventure.

Mommy: What did you just say?

Me: Mom, I said I need adventure! I can't leave right now.

Mommy: Where in the world did you hear that?

Me: I said I need adventure.

Soooo..eventually I agreed to leave. I am glad that I did, too! We took Tabatha to school, went to play with my cousins for a little bit, and then went to pick out my big girl bike!!! I have been eyeing a Barbie bike forever and my mommy and daddy said it was finally time to get one...so, guess what I have been doing for 2 whole hours???

That is right, my daddy hangs out with Sponge Bob sometimes. (Congrats to dad who completed the Geist Half Marathon in under 2 1/2 hours!!! WAY TO RUN DADDY!)

Life is Good

I Am Back

Well I have been one busy little lady the last 6 days! Last Wednesday morning my mommy and daddy took me over to Grandma and Pa's house and I got to stay ALL NIGHT! I played with Levi and Evan all day and even took a good nap for Grandma. When the boys went home I thought I probably had to go home, too. BUT I stayed Wednesday, Thursday and during the day on Friday! I had such a great time. Grandma and Pa let me pick where we ate (I picked the Shark which is also known as Long John Silver's). We got to go to Indianapolis one night and I even got to hang out with Aunt Ruthie on Friday morning!

Friday afternoon I got to go to Grandma Donna's work and see some people there. AND THEN I got to go spend the weekend with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Donna! I had a really great time there, too. I helped Grandpa Dave a whole bunch, me and Grandma Donna went to the mall and I even got a yellow balloon! Again, I had a great time.

Then this morning I went to Granny's house and played with my cousins, great-great aunts, and grandma and granny. THEN this afternoon mommy and daddy came home!! They had been to Texas to visit Uncle Tim and Aunt Emily. Me and Aunt Clata made a welcome home sign for them and we hung it on the door to surprise them. I told them some of the things I had been up to while they were gone and then mommy gave me a brand new orange tutu. I was so excited and showed everyone how I could spin in it. (It later proved great fun during Dancing with the Stars.)

Tonight me and my parents went to Pet Smart and I got to pick out a new fish tank for my fishies. I picked a pink tank and I even found a little Dora to put in the water, too! We came home and I helped daddy put it together.
It was a good day and a great few days with my grandparents!! I am glad to be home in my own bed tonight, though. I am actually going to go catch some sleep right now!
