Will It Ever End???

Well this has just been a rough week! Last Thursday I woke up and threw up a few times. Other than that I thought I was fine. Then Friday night mommy got sick...and I got sick some more! It has just been a crazy few days. I think I am fine and do really well for a day and then I get the yucks again!
Yesterday I had a really good day and I even got to show my school to Grandpa Dave and Grandma Donna, Grandma and Pa and Grandpa Joe and Grammy! Mommy and daddy got to go, too. I showed them all the projects I've done and I showed them our fish. I was very proud!
Last night I was so ready for bed after a great day. Then in the middle of the night I got very sick again!! Me and mommy slept on the couches because I was up so much throughout the whole night.
And then today we called the doctor and I am probably going to go see him in the morning. The rest of the day was very low key and I slept a lot and played some with mommy and daddy.
And now....DADDY FEELS YUCKY! Oh my goodness, when will it ever end????

First Field Trip Ever

Today I went on my first field trip. It was so much fun!! We went to the pumpkin patch and there was so much to do there! I got to pet and feed lots of animals and I even saw a pig. I went on a hay ride and got to bump around while checking out the patch and the trees (it is also a Christmas tree farm). I got to play pumpkin bowling and pick out my very own pumpkin to take home. And one of the best things was that daddy got to go on my field trip with me. We had a blast together!

Pumpkin Time

Tis the season for going to the pumpkin patch, eating apple donuts, climbing the hay, picking out the perfect pumpkin, talking to the goats (who I think are "so cute"), and attempting to get in the inflatable game. (I say attempting because for some reason I am still a bit scared of it.) Yes, it is officially FALL in the Douglas House!

No Excuses

I've no excuses for why the blog hasn't been updated for weeks! I'll just hang my head and share some pictures...

When Life is Busy...

This last week has been a whirlwind! I hung out with my cousins last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and it was lots of fun. Mommy let us play outside a lot because the weather was nice. I also had school and dance on top of that AND I had to get me and mommy packed for a weekend away!
Mommy went to Chicago for the weekend so I got to spend the weekend with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Donna. We had a great time. A couple of highlights were getting to go to the Ft. Wayne Zoo and to see where my cousin Tyler goes to college. I did LOTS of walking and it was so much fun. I also got to go eat tomatoes out of Grandpa Si's garden! And I can't forget that Friday daddy took me to the Cardinal Greenway to ride my bike!
By the time I got home Sunday evening I was pooped! Lots of sleep has been on my agenda, as well as lunch with Granny and Grandma and some playing at the park. I think this week may be a bit quieter, but one can never be sure about these things.

Miss Me?

I know it has been almost a week since I've been on here. Time just flies sometimes!! I have had a great week that started off with a slumber party at Grandma and Pa's house Sunday night. Monday was a great holiday and I was able to spend lots of time with family. I saw Grandpa Joe and Grammy and played in the back yard for a long time. Me and Grandpa Joe made up our own games and we had fun. Then I headed to Granny Conner's to have dinner with the family. It was also a great time and I got to play outside for a long time there, too!!

Tuesday and Thursday I had school. I am having a great time there! I sing songs, play outside, and Thursday we talked about circles. I already knew what a circle was, but I got to make a picture with cut out circles to take home. I also had dance class and love it, too!!
