My First Movie!!!

It has been a few days since I've given you an update. It has been a great week! Thursday Aunt Sara and Levi went to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis with me and mommy. We had so much fun. We played and played! Levi was a great cousin and even let me play in the Barbie room for a while even though it really wasn't his thing! We stayed all day and really enjoyed being together. Friday I went to the the sports complex to watch daddy play softball (he even pitched). I watched for about 45 seconds and then played the rest of the time with my cousin Caleb and my friend Katie. We got a whole softball diamond all to ourselves. We ran and batted and sat in the brick dust to play. Today I went to grandma's house to play with Evan for a while. I loved it and wasn't too excited to leave, but mommy and daddy took me to a community carnival and I made out like a bandit! I got lots of prizes and had fun playing all the games. Tonight we played outside in the sprinkler, took a bike ride and then finished up the evening with spaghetti and a bath (in that order). IT HAS BEEN A FABULOUS FEW DAYS!!!

Drum Roll Please

Practicing my new talent.....WINKING!

Fruit Snacks and Popcorn and Sprite, Oh My!

Yesterday was a great day! So great that I was too tuckered to write last night!!! My day was certainly an adventure that began with me and mommy and grandma going to my very first ever MOVIE!!! The theater here has a summer camp day once a week when kids can go for a dollar and even get a kids pack (fruit snacks, popcorn and drink) for a low, low price!!! We thought this would be a great way to see if I actually liked going to the movies since it was so inexpensive! So we headed off to the theater to watch "Imagine That" about a little girl who has an imaginary world and imaginary friends. The movie was very good. The daddy in the movie was really funny (Eddie Murphy) and the little girl kept my attention.
I walked into the theater, watched mommy get the tickets, headed straight to the popcorn line and then we went into the big room! I took it all in stride like I had been there a thousand times. Since we were early, I got to pick where I wanted to sit. Mommy and grandma wanted to sit right at the bottom of the stadium seating where they could put their feet up on the bar. BUT, I really wanted to sit way up at the top. We compromised a little and sat 3 rows from the top. I got my own booster seat to make me very tall. I REALLY enjoyed my snacks and was fascinated by how big the "tv screen" was. Lots of kids came in and finally the movie started.
I sat really well for most of the movie, only getting up when I had to take a bathroom break. Toward the end I stood up in front of my chair to watch and even turned my booster chair upside down to I could sit IN it instead of ON it, but I did a GREAT job!
After the movie we went to Hobby Lobby and then to lunch. I was so tired after lunch that I actually took a nap (2 days in a row now). When I got up from my nap we went to Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lesa's house to borrow Lesa's good mixer. We're going to play with making different kinds of icing over the next few days to see which one we like best for my birthday cake (yes, it is a month away but we have to practice...mommy is a novice). I got to play with the dogs for a few minutes while mommy and daddy talked to Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lesa.
THEN it was off to Carlos for dinner, where I so enjoyed my chips and cheese and mac and cheese. And then to finish off the day, I had a great bike ride and play time in "my park." I played until nine pm and headed home with my family.
Daddy read my 4 Maisy books (I LOVE MAISY BOOKS) and then it was time for bed. Do you see why I was too tired to write???
I do have pictures from my first ever movie, but they aren't loaded on the computer yet...so I will show you as soon as they are.

Happy Father's Day!

I am so blessed to have a very wonderful daddy and some very wonderful grandpa's in my life!! They all love me so much and I sure do love them, too!! I want to wish them ALL a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! You each are sure showing me how a little lady should always be treated. You are SOOOOOOO SPECIAL and I LOVE YOU (Daddy, Pa, Grandpa Dave, Grandpa Joe, Grandpa Si, and Grandpa Max)!!!
P.S. A special note for daddy: You are the best! Nobody could be as great of a daddy as you are. Thank you for playing with me, loving me and teaching me all kinds of things. Thank you for worrying when I get hurt, laughing when I'm ornery, hugging when I need it, tickling when we're playing, reading books over and over again before bedtime, and helping me discover all kinds of things each and every day. Thank you for working hard for me and mommy. We sure do appreciate and love you sooooo much!!!
