PLAY TIME

I have got lots of pictures to blow up your computer. I just couldn't decide which ones to show you that would even explain what a wonderful day I had! I woke up early and discovered that Levi and Evan were here. Mommy said they get to come to our place a whole bunch during the school year and today was the first day!
We went to the park. We took a long walk. We had to take a bath because we got WAY DIRTY in the sand at the park. We ate a good lunch. We played with just about every toy in the place. We took naps. Me and Levi helped mommy with Evan. I did a great job entertaining him. I sang for him, I got his paci for him, I hugged him.
We just had a GREAT DAY!

I Mean Business

Listen People. I mean serious business when I am outside playing. I REALLY mean business when it comes to "watering the flowers." I like to warm up by watering the flowers...but then I like to water any person that walks by, my parents, and the sidewalk/grass. Then I like to grab a sip of water (since I've spent so much energy getting everybody watered). My motto when controlling the water hose is this...."You Can Run, But You Can't Hide!"
I had a really great day today everybody! My daddy had his first official day off in what feels like forever, so we spent lots of time together. We had great fun hiding under the covers on daddy's bed, playing on my bike, going to the toy store, driving the Dora car at Meijer and blowing bubbles!!! What a great family day!

Busy Few Days

It has been such a busy few days! I THINK after today life will be 'normal' again. Want to know why it has been so busy?
Lots of reasons...but one of those is that my Aunt Emily came to see me all the way from Texas. We had a big party for her and Uncle Tim because they got married. I danced...I ate icing...I made new friends...it was a great time. So, I tried to see Aunt Emily lots while she was here. She left yesterday to head back to Texas and I'm already missing her.

TWO

Happy Birthday to You....

Happy Birthday to You...

Happy Birthday, Sweet Lynley

Happy Birthday to You!

Dear Lynley Grace,

Two years ago today, we had no idea how much you would change our lives. We couldn't even begin to imagine how you would come into this world and be a light to everybody you would meet. How could we possibly have known the effect your sweet, beautiful smile would have on us and those around you? We couldn't have dreamed the laughter you'd provide with each ornery grin and every mischievous action. We had no clue how our hearts would flutter as we listened to you say, "Thank You, Jesus," at the end of each night and how tears would fill our eyes when you mastered, "mama," and "dada."

You've taken us by quite the surprise. From the moment you wrapped your tiny fingers around ours, you've given us joy that we can't describe. We are so very proud to be your parents and to call you our sweet, baby girl.

We Love You,

Mommy & Daddy

Celebrating Again

The closer I get to turning the big TWO, the more celebrating we do. Saturday was my second party and it was another great one. The theme of my party was pink Minnie Mouse. We had balloons everywhere and I got to run around and see lots of family AND eat more icing!
I started my day with Tabatha because my parents were on the Cardinal Greenway so daddy could train for the marathon. I get to wake up to Tabatha lots of Saturdays now and I sure do enjoy it! So we played until mommy and daddy came home.
Before I knew it, I was getting dressed for my party and people started to arrive! I was quite the hostess and entertainer! I opened presents, ran around the lounge, opened a few more presents and then listened as everyone sang Happy Birthday! I blew out my candle and I ate icing and I ran around some more!!!
After the party and after cleaning up, me and mommy and daddy went to dinner with Grandpa Dave, Grandma Donna, Adam and Christy. I ate some pizza and breadsticks and did a very nice job, especially since I did not get a nap.
When I got home I took a bath and hung out with mommy and daddy. We played with my new toys and called it a day. I LOVE CELEBRATING!!!!
