Run In with Water

Today has been a good day so far. I'm writing a little bit early because I have just got to help mommy pack tonight for her trip. Goodness knows she can't do anything without my help.

This morning I woke up about 7:30am after a full night of REST. I forgot to tell you that I fell asleep in the car last night and never woke up. Mommy says she changed my diaper and put on my pj's but I never even opened an eye. So I felt rested today and began playing immediately. Mommy made toast, but I didn't eat it. I remembered that today is Monday and that means DONUTS WITH AUNT RUTH!

Me and mommy went to get gas in the car and then headed to granny's house. Levi didn't come today because he was with his other babysitter and so it was just me and the grown ups. I had my donut holes and some strawberries and some apples and some ham. I was running all over the place and having a great time! I saw a cup and decided to try and get a drink (even though my sippie cup was about 3 feet away). I put my head back and, WOOSH, a whole glass of water ended up on my clothes! At first I was a bit worried, but then I was excited because I got to run around without my clothes on!

We had to leave granny's house to get some running done. Mommy wanted to get me and daddy some stuff at Wal Mart for while she is gone. Luckily Grandma Filler rode with us because I fell right asleep in the car! So mommy went and got lots of running done while I slept soundly in the car with grandma with me.

When I woke up we were at church and Tabatha was there to play with me! Mommy had some stuff to get done so I played in the gym and walked all around. I even got to go outside for a few minutes because it was BEAUTIFUL! I tried so very hard to step on my shadow...but it kept getting away from me!

Me and mommy took Tabatha home and then went to pick up some t-shirts that she had made for all the people going on the trip tomorrow. They were nice shirts but I did NOT like waiting in the store for them to be finished. It was the LONGEST 15 minutes of my life and I made sure EVERYBODY knew it. Mommy didn't seem to take notice so that made me even MORE ANGRY and BORED! Thank Heavens she noticed and we left the store with shirts in hand!

We FINALLY GOT HOME and I am now getting ready to watch Madagascar until daddy gets off work in a few minutes. I hear we are going to eat dinner and then pack mommy up. I have to go to bed right on time tonight because I also heard that we have to get up EARLY to take mommy to the rental car place.

I am gonna miss mommy the next few days...but I am REALLY EXCITED to spend some time with daddy! I just know the time will fly for me, but probably not for mommy...I'm not sure HOW SHE WILL SURVIVE a whole 3 nights and 4 days without me!!!
