New Beet In Town

I am BACK! This last little bit has been just a tad rough on mommy and myself! Our computer decided to stop working and so I couldn't write my memoirs, mommy couldn't catch up on facebook daily, neither of us could watch Thomas the Train on his website...it was REALLY ROUGH! But, after texts to Uncle Patrick (who diagnosed the problem) and after a visit from Uncle Jeff (who fixed the problem), we are BACK IN BUSINESS!
I'm still in the Christmas Spirit and enjoying every day to the fullest. The biggest news I have is that my favorite blanket, beet, went missing. Seriously, I am convinced that something horrid happened to him. Last Friday night I was packed and ready to go to grandma and pa's house for the night. Daddy was working, mommy had a thing at church with the kids, and I was happy as can be. Grandma went to unpack my bag.....and.....no beet!!!! Thankfully I was so tired that I went right to sleep, but the next day was a different story! Mommy tore our place apart, grandma and pa looked all over their house and there was just no beet. Mommy was sure it was going to be miserable for me for the rest of my life time.....and it might have been except my Uncle Lawrence came to the rescue!
Lawrence brought me a new beet. It was just like my old beet...just a different color and not torn up. For Saturday's nap I wasn't too sure if I was going to like the new guy...but by Saturday night I'd decided that this one fits right up at my face just like the old one did. Mommy was sure excited that Lawrence and Sara had an "extra" beet that they'd bought for Evan. You have to order them online and it would have taken lots of sleepless nights before I would have had one....and who knows if I would have liked the new one. My "new beet," as I lovingly call him, is special because he is a present from Uncle Lawrence. I tell mommy all the time, as I am carrying him around, that "new beet is from Uncle Lawrence."
The other really, really cool thing to share is that tonight me and mommy and grandma and pa went on a road trip. We drove FOREVER and ended up in a place called Fishers. I got to get out of my car seat and hang my head out the window while we drove through a drive-thru Christmas Light Show!!! It was GREAT! I saw trains, "happy monsters," airplanes, Baby Jesus, Santa and his reindeer, and ALL KINDS OF OTHER STUFF!!!! It was so much fun and pa drove through a bunch of times so I could take it all in. We had a fabulous time...and I was worried after the long drive that it wouldn't be worth it...but it DEFINITELY WAS!!
Oh, one more thing before I go for the night....my new favorite songs are Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Home on the Range. Yes, I am 2 years old and LOVE TO SING HOME ON THE RANGE!!!! Doesn't everyone love this song???
